Exactly 100 years ago, a girl, only 14 years of age, was flexing her abilities for the first time on the grandest stage of them all – in front of a crowd of more than 10,000 fans, packed into the stadium for the sole purpose of seeing her team play a football match. Her name was Lily Parr.
