🌊 – Our mate Harry runs the best vintage designer and sportswear shop in London. Housed at Vinegar Yard, just behind London Bridge station, Harry fills @hartexgram with a selection of impeccably curated garments ripe for the picking. We’re talking pristine Arsenal shirts from the Petit-in-JVC era, classy Ralph Lauren Polo sweaters, and, last week, he had a shelf of very discontinued Nike visors. Odd things, they were. ⁣ ⁣ This afternoon, we caught sight of a shirt on Harry’s Instagram story that made our heads fall off. Paul Gascoigne at Lazio is about as cult as it gets. The goal in the Rome derby, the absolute adoration from fans and team-mates, the lack of playing time due to fluctuating levels of fitness… when you get that period of time encapsulated on a shirt featuring photographic cut-outs, Lazio crests all over, and a nickname and number on the back, you’re looking at something special.⁣ ⁣ “I source the product from all over,” says Harry, “from the suburban London mansions of former sports shop owners to old geezers in the streets of New York. I tend to look for things that I don’t think I’ll be able to find again. I want anything you can’t find twice. The more obscure and weird the item, the better. ⁣ ⁣ “In terms of this shirt, I find it genuinely emotional. A polyester love letter to Gazza, and like all good things, it’s made in Italy. I try not to get attached to the pieces we have in the shop, but I’m gonna struggle handing this over when it inevitably sells in two minutes…”
